How’s Your Week Been

Oh brother where art thou? lol Well this isn’t really a funny post, but you just have to laugh. It has been a rough couple of weeks, school is going fine but finances not so much. As much as I believe in the Law of Attraction and staying positive this has not been easy. It could be worse, and I am grateful but stuff is looming, at least in my psychology. I wish I could practice what I preach, and I am making effort to, I am. Just haven’t been able to transmute this base metal into gold, yet…………… Still in life’s laboratory working on it. (Oh, that is good, can I use that in my essay about, The Self?) Lets just call this a rough draft and I continue.

So, got the computer back after spending $350, which mind you I didn’t have to spare. Good start of the week, still anxiety looming, hormones flipping out, at my British Literature class Wednesday night, and at the break get a call from an unknown number in LA. Allow me to digress one moment to say, “Read Gawain and the Green Knight,” that was some darn good writing. If you like the King Arthur/Knights of the Round Table legends, it is good. Oh and here is a documentary from the BBC.

Okay back to the Lamentations of a Blue Butterfly, ha ha too much literature, I crack myself up, and still this is not a funny post. So, the call is a friend of a friend, that is not usually a good sign. He informs me that my friend has committed suicide, and has been dead for over a week. I was struck like someone threw cold water on me. I started to cry but I had to go back into class so I ceased crying, and then we watched the above linked documentary. Then of course I had to digest this afterwards, as well as contact our mutual friends who had not been told. I didn’t get that all done until this afternoon. Now I am going to release it. Lots of homework and studies to attend to, as well as working in the psychological laboratory, and getting my attitude gold, or better. I will not do myself any favors if I do not make adjustments there.

Last night in meditation (the bright spot of the week) we spent some time with the angelic realm, as we usually do. Jeanette said that we were going to have two angels working with us, specializing in each of us, asides from our usual angelic friends. I saw a handsome angel approach me, I heard his name, I am Chamuel. He looked like those Anglo paintings of Jesus. I say, “You look like Jesus,” he says, “Yes, I have heard that.” lol When I googled him once home, the image I saw was identical. That is pretty cool, huh? I wasn’t that familiar with him. I recall a girl on The Voice had a last name that I knew was the name of an Archangel, but that was all. I didn’t see another specific angel but it is probably Zedkiel as he always seems to be attending me. So not to be such a downer, but I just needed to put it out there. You all have always been such an emotional and energetic support, as well as good cheerleaders.

I hope everyone is well, really I do. I miss reading everyone’s blogs, and staying up with what is going on with you.

Sending my love.

Namaste

It certainly was a challenging week that’s for sure. Jaime was a bright light and had a sparkling personality. She will be greatly missed by us all. I only hope she has some peace now, and that the demons that haunted her are silenced. That she is surrounded in love and being comforted by our Creator, surrounded by angels and those who love her. xoxo

  2. my condolances with the loss of your friend, she’ll be happy now where she is ! I hope next week will be a LOT better !

So sorry abut your friend. And your money woes. I, too, have struggled to get those LOA principles to work for me in that arena so I really hear you on that. I’ll hold a vision of abundance headed your way.

    • Thanks dear friend. I just keep reminding myself that as far as my troubles go, everything happens for a reason. I have been in this place a couple of times an me it has lead to big positive changes, so I have to trust. The angels are answering my prayers, I am seeing evidence of this…. Blessings on us all. Thank you so much for your kindness….as a result of losing my friend, a friend I was exiled from as contacted me, and we are reunited, so…I lost a Cancerian, and got a lost one back. ❤ Life is strange.

    Hey Sindy,

I remember sharing a conversation with a close friend on FB regarding the experience of having dear friends depart from the mirrored surface of our life, and how in sustaining the deepest warmth of their loving memory she had extended the embrace of their wonderful friendship beyond this world and into realms where there are no tears. She felt certain that the most beautiful friendships that we make in the course of our life are those that are already chosen for us by the loving hand of Grace for when we arrive here still shiny and new. And I find this an exquisite thought to absorb, least of all that there is at the fundamental level a higher purpose why such friendships occur, more so than mere chance, thought or reason might establish alone. True friendship then becomes a force motivated by Love, a force which brings individuals together as vivid tributaries to flow a while side-by-side in the cosmic river of life. Each stream exists to express its own individual colour whilst also sharing the rub of its tincture with the other…and yet within true friendship’s beautiful form there is really only an expression of two shades of the same colour drawn from the one endless pool of consciousness. Perhaps that is why we are drawn so effortlessly to certain colours at particular moments in our life and why the gleam of gold now also appears to solidify in the illuminated radiance of your guide…gold is the allure of the grand Alchemist who transmutes and transforms everything, including the knowledge we accrue and the wisdom we acquire with great love and attention to detail so as to leave every pearl with a lustrous golden shine.

I have everything crossed that you will continue to be as successful in your studies as you have been in all walks of this life, so how fascinating to read that your literature class extends its touch to include the texts around the King Arthur legends…I have bookmarked the link for a read later…evidently Sir Gawain and the Green Knight should generate some lively debate on matters such as the motif of the changing seasons, or perhaps the poem’s symbols and larger themes exploring the quest for balancing chivalrous virtue and spiritual integrity with the enjoyment of living a naturally rich and purposefully engaging, vibrant and happily abundant life. I imagine there is so much to consider when studying the subtext hidden beneath the knightly guise of its poetry that you’ll become fascinated by its details for sometime! And there is little doubt you will enjoy the literary seduction and visual romance that form with its reading in your mind…noble ladies in green girdles, and adventuring knights with flaming wands bound to a code of conduct that upholds the virtues of the Pentagram. What more could a girl with a love for the spiritual enrichment of either the mediaeval romance or the literary fairy-tale ask for? It is as you suggest some ‘serious writing’, rich and syrupy and flowing like a golden liquid dream to cast a spell upon the mind.

I find great pleasure in reading about your experiences at the meditation group: your visions have captivated me ever since you first mentioned Olympus. Somehow, and in someway, all that you write seems to encapsulate all that it must feel to be so deeply attuned to the wonder that is life, and so aware of one’s limitless participation of it. The visual narratives you form are far more wondrous than I could ever imagine!

    Take care blue kitty,

    Namaste

  12. Firstly Dewin, I want to thank you for the lovely thoughtful words. As always your comments have a lyrical and poetic countenance. I believe you are referring to our conversation regarding my afterlife conversation with my friend Jill, and you are right, there were no tears in that realm. That communication I had with Jill still informs my consciousness and beliefs. I have attempted to reach Jami and I did hear her, but it was as if she was speaking from far away and it wasn’t strong and clear like my conversation with Jill was. Jami was from West Virginia and had a real country accent, I heard, “Sin, (that’s what she called me) I’m sorry.” That was it. I don’t know if she was sorry for me, or sorry she did it? It doesn’t matter and honestly I am okay with it.
Sir Gawain would have made for a good class discussion but we just grazed it and moved on to Chaucer. I just loved, loved the poem. It was so rich with history, mysticism, magic, symbolism………. Perhaps the professor who is a PhD. Will allow me to write my research paper on it, but I don’t think he likes me, so we shall see? The librarian at school suggested “Othello,” but I don’t think the professor likes Shakespeare. So I don’t know.
Our meditation group continues to be like The Magical Mystery Tour, and I feel cocooned in an aura of love and a high frequency atmosphere. I am very blessed, and I also get to share it with my sister, which makes it even more special.
Again I sincerely appreciate the time and consideration you took to share your thoughts with me. This feels rather formal considering. 😉

    lol (blue kitty)

    Namaste friend,

    Hey SS,

Fine loving friends will always remain so even when they are distant from our eyes for Love has no boundaries in time and space when the heart seeks to express its compassionate intent. And you do have a beautiful gift Sindy that reaches out so effortlessly to offer comfort and warmth to those who find themselves momentarily displaced by a transition of states. It is what truly makes you shine with the Light of the Sun…’Thou roll up into the horizon, and set your Light over the darkness, you send forth air from thy plumes, and you flood the Two Lands like the Disk at daybreak. Thy crown penetrates the height of heaven; you are the companion of the Stars, and the guide of every soul. You are beneficent in decree and speech, favoured by the company of the Goddesses, and the beloved of the Company of Angels.’

It’s also wonderful to see the ‘smile’ back in your words and to hear you sound so enamoured by the literature class (and indeed by school itself!)…you express your interest with such amoroso one can’t help but imagine that you’ve found the noblest company amidst the dream inducing prose and symbolic form of their literary genius. I’m certain it is a love affair with words that will blossom and bloom in abundance upon the feint-ruled lines of the page. Climbing deeper inside the melodies of Chaucer will only inflame your passionate heart still further whilst your mind unfolds to let your imagination freely roam. I see no reason why you shouldn’t pursue thoughts of writing your research paper on a piece of work that has captivated you as it has…and yet, who knows how such an uprising of feeling will actually manifest once its form is finally given solidity – there are many beautiful and stirring poems from which to choose. But whatever the final outcome, it is perhaps the total enjoyment to be found in the process of reaching that ultimate decision that becomes the most rewarding and worthwhile of endeavours. Knowing you SS, the perspective you take in approaching your writing will be heart-felt, unique and insightful, individual and explorative, and reflect most poignantly the ideas and philosophies that’ll help shape and clearly define your future intentions and larger goals…and I for one can’t wait to read your research paper!

And on a last note, since we are being less formal, I have a rhetorical question…do I really have to ask if it is the ‘blue in you’ that puts the ‘sin’ in ‘Sindy’… 😛

    Namaste ‘blue cup-cake’ Kitty

From one romantic dreamer slipping through the cosmic river to another, thank you sweet SS…it’s good to have you back in the blue 🙂

You know how I like to follow threads….so here’s a curious little thing regarding the name Sindy…and it concerns two or three cords running through your words that beautifully merge into one golden pond.

(Wiki ref check) The name ‘Cynthia’ is a feminine given name of Greek origin: Κυνθία, Kynthía, “from Mount Cynthus” on Delos island. It can be abbreviated as Cindy or as Cyndy. There are various spellings for this name.

‘Cynthia’ was originally an epithet of the Greek Goddess of the Moon, Artemis, who according to legend, was born on Mount Cynthus. Selene, the Greek personification of the Moon, and the Roman Diana (by way of their identification with Artemis) were also sometimes called Cynthia.

All good so far…but a sprinkle more pixie dust in the old Google search engine brought to light something further to add to my reply…

In ancient times Cynthia was also a cult title of the Greek God Apollo (from Mount Kynthos on Delos, the island on which Apollo was born) and was not used specifically as a girl’s first name.

And finally, “curiouser and curiouser still” said Alice returning to follow the proverbial rabbit back down the hole a little deeper, is the poetic connection to the name Cynthia in all its Venusian guise, through the Latin elegist Propertius who wrote love poetry to a woman called Cynthia, whom he named precisely because of her connection with Apollo as a god of Poetry. And Apollo of course is always depicted in gold…which takes my mind back to your phrase, ‘just haven’t been able to transmute this base metal into gold, yet…Still in life’s laboratory working on it,’ and makes me think that already in name alone Sindy, you are a Goddess with a passion for beautiful words 🙂

Not sure what all this means, just thought I should float it out there lol 🙂

    Enjoy your weekend SS.

    Namaste friend
