Architect Of Dreams

Remember Field of Dreams, (1989) with Kevin Costner? “Build it, and they will come.” the line echoed by James Earl Ray. I believe this about life, I really do. I read a small book from the early 1900’s and I do not recall the author, or the title, but he spoke of working with the grey matter, the materia prima, although he did not use the Latin term, he called it grey matter. He said if necessary, “To deny the obvious.” Deny the obvious if it is not the reality you wish to manifest. I am a natural at denial, I live by the river de nile. For some years now I have held a focus for the world and my dream, if I watched the news, which I do not, it might appear that my denial was not working, but I still believe it is. Build it and they will come.

This has held true in my creation of my garden. You know how I go on about, “I do believe in fairies! I do. I do!” well I do, and with the assistance of my co-creator boyfriend we have brought a fairy paradise to life.  A huge branch fell from the tree several months ago, and when that branch fell, I fell in love with its aesthetic of a magical wood. So I kept it and started to imagine and visual it as a place that fairies would build their houses and live. Well if you are my friend and come to my graduation next year you can see it. I hope it retains its magic in the blazing summer heat but every other season it is enchanting. Build it and it, and they will come!

To a Mouse

(1785)

Robert Burns

Little, crafty, cowering, timid little beast,
Oh, what a panic is in your little breast!
You need not start away so hasty
With argumentative chatter!
I would be loath to run and chase you,
With murdering plough.

I’m truly sorry man’s dominion
Has broken Nature’s social union,
And justifies that ill opinion
Which makes you startle
At me, your poor, earth born companion
And fellow mortal!

I doubt not, sometimes, that you may steal;
What then? Poor little beast, you must live!
An odd ear in twenty-four sheaves
Is a small request;
I will get a blessing with what is left,
And never miss it.

Your small house, too, in ruin!
Its feeble walls the winds are scattering!
And nothing now, to build a new one,
Of coarse green foliage!
And bleak December’s winds coming,
Both bitter and piercing!

You saw the fields laid bare and wasted,
And weary winter coming fast,
And cozy here, beneath the blast,
You thought to dwell,
Till crash! the cruel plough passed
Out through your cell.

That small heap of leaves and stubble,
Has cost you many a weary nibble!
Now you are turned out, for all your trouble,
Without house or holding,
To endure the winter’s sleety dribble,
And hoar-frost cold.

But little Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes of mice and men
Go often askew,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!

Still you are blessed, compared with me!
The present only touches you:
But oh! I backward cast my eye,
On prospects dreary!
And forward, though I cannot see,
I guess and fear!

Hey Happy Spring everyone. I am so very busy with school that I hardly have time to blog, but I cannot imagine ever abandoning it. In one more month I will complete my first year at ASU and I will be a senior, Yay! I can hopefully catch up with all my wonderful friends here then. I have had the opportunity recently to work with Special Ed students and oh what a joy they are to work with, however my passion is Language Arts, speaking of which Grammar is brutal, a little better than Algebra. We have been making stepping stones with cement and my garden is more enchanting than ever.

My good friend Dewin has developed a blog, Gallybloggers designed to assist the homeless with your poetry contributions, so please visit his blog and support his noble efforts.

I do not watch the news or television and visit Facebook rarely however I heard there was winds of war, so my peace loving heart invites you to join me in visions, prayers, and meditation for peace.

May everyone be happy.

May everyone be safe.

May everyone be well.

May everyone feel love.

May everyone be nourished.

May everyone be fulfilled.

May everyone be at peace.

Namaste

Feel My Love

Hello friends. Have you all had an intense week by any chance? Boy mine sure was. I do not know the artist of this image but it fits. On Mondays I intern at a high school, last Monday my mentor teacher was sick so he left me in charge, I still had a certified teacher in the room but I got to run the class. It was a great experience. Then on Monday evening I was walking a friends dog, and I was hit by a car, or truck rather, but I was able to walk away. Many of you are my friends on Facebook and already know. I am healing well but still hard to sit on my tailbone. Many thanks to my guardian angel(s).

Then it was Valentines Day, I hope you all enjoyed the poem. I think it is an epic love poem.

Friday I was witness to the most beautiful death. My boyfriends dad had decided to end his battle with cancer with hospice care at his home. The wife and his grown children surrounded him held hands and prayed, I was the only other human witness. The room was filled with angels and he transitioned.  I had not been present to death prior to his. I really liked his dad, everyone that ever met him liked him. He was super talented painter, musician, barber, hair stylist, dancer, father and an amazing husband. My boyfriend had this great man as a role model and shares many of his traits. I only share such a personal story because I never knew how beautiful death could be. ❤

Namaste and peace to all!

The astrology for this weekend was super intense so be kind to yourselves.

Well . . . Wow! Happy Solstice everybody, I see many of you enjoyed the poem by my friend HollyRose. Thank you for your support. I do not know if you are all aware of this Cosmic Wave that is literally, and figuratively washing over the planet? I for one was gobsmacked. Even if it is hyperbole it is a powerful visual to work with. I am just going to include a bunch of links for you to view or read as  you so desire. I feel it is a great time to release and to create our new butterfly body (just kidding) but the NEW.

Runaway Train

Every day I am blessed to be in the company of angels, especially last Friday. Life is so hectic and my challenges were paramount last week: my break lights were out so I put my car in the shop, it was there for two days and not fixed, my internet was down, and all the final projects are coming due for school. So Friday morning I take the train to school, I had a lovely conversation with a lady I see regularly on my commute, but I still had a preoccupied mind. I reached my stop, I said goodbye to the lady, and I started walking toward the intersection, I had observed another girl on the train because I liked her ASU tee- shirt, it had ASU in gold sequins, and she had a cute polka dot leather purse. She was heading in my direction and I guess I was watching her while in my head, she stopped abruptly and I wondered why, I almost continued and two steps further and I would have been hit by the train. They had even announced the train was approaching. I am telling you I could have reached out and touched it. lol What an eye opener to awareness. Mindfullness could save your life. Not that I was aware, clearly I wasn’t. So my guardian angel Seraphina saved me yet again. Or it could have been any of the angels as I talk with them everyday and ask for their assistance, protection, and guidance. It was my sisters birthday and not my day to die or be mangled, thanks angels!
