Tunes for Thought
I love my life~
Well . . . Wow! Happy Solstice everybody, I see many of you enjoyed the poem by my friend HollyRose. Thank you for your support. I do not know if you are all aware of this Cosmic Wave that is literally, and figuratively washing over the planet? I for one was gobsmacked. Even if it is hyperbole it is a powerful visual to work with. I am just going to include a bunch of links for you to view or read as you so desire. I feel it is a great time to release and to create our new butterfly body (just kidding) but the NEW.
A new FB Friend I found fascinating
I did this meditation with Archangel Raziel, I like the rainbow, the clearing and soon that goes with this wave.
Namaste, Peace & Love
Hey everyone. I am wishing that you are all healthy, happy & abundant. I am hoping that you are enjoying the Holiday Season, but if perchance you are one that is troubled by the holidays, I send you extra love. I am going to see A Mid-Winter’s Night Dream, a seasonal transposition of Shakespeare’s classic, at Taliesin West, which was Frank Lloyd Wright’s, Winter home, I am so excited. Going this afternoon.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Mercury Retrograde Christmas. My car, my boyfriend’s car….. and it isn’t even retrograde until the 19th, but other than an expected “Griswald Christmas” it is all good. Semester finally done, an A on the Shakespeare paper which felt like a huge accomplishment. All in all I got 3, A’s, a B+, and 2 B’s. I should be happy, and I am, but I could have done a little better. I am working on a visual and audio presentation on the paper, as I have such a vivid image of the play in my head, and I really like the paper. I will post to my academia.edu page when I revise it. It is nice to catch my breath but I am already to get back into school. I guess it is a good thing I picked teaching and English because I love them both. Graduation is May 7, 2018, so for those who plan to attend, Linda, Mary…lol anyone else, that is 18 months notice.
Have you ever had one song stuck in your head for over a week? I have had Barry White singing in my head for over a week. Please help exorcise Barry White’s, Never Never Gonna Give You Up from my mind. Really and life isn’t that sexy. lol
Oh and my sister talked to our dead dad via Jeanette St. Germain, cool huh? lol
If you are so inclined I linked an astrology article on MR below.
Happy Holidays! 😉
I cannot read the artist name but it is lovely.
Magic is. . .
For one…. This amazing painting that graces the back side of my Fairy Tarot deck. She just looks like I want a fairy to look. It has sure been a long haul with school. I have forever homework with umpteen essays, books to read, articles to read, projects and presentations to do. A normal free day for me is 12 or more hours of work. Wow, I had no idea. The good news is that I am doing it.
I have a rather scholarly Shakespeare professor who I really enjoy listening to and learning from. However I took my rough draft for my first paper, that I had worked on for eighteen hours, and he hated it. I was gobsmacked and not in a good way. lol Thankfully I also have great non-corporeal professors who advise me and keep me straight. The scene in his office would be great in a film, at least from my perspective. So I shift gears, rearrange my schedule so I can get caught up yesterday. Reading The Age of Opportunity, by Dr. Steinberg, on the adolescent brain and development is just mind blowing. I am reading a chapter on “The Importance of Self Regulation,” and determination. He says “Tenacity wins over talent.” He goes on to say that in his profession at least 80% of his essays, or grant proposals are refused. Hmm. . . “I See” I say to myself, as I read further “You have to . . . review, revise, review, and revise again.” A different class than Shakespeare but what a timely bit of reading for me. My angel guide says, “You skip steps” I do. I try to write a perfect paper, all correct in formatting and structure the first time. I just learned that having your work critiqued and edited is part of the process. I have also learned there is something to be said to writing with pen and paper old school first. So much to learn.
Now on the lighter side, I LOVE Young Adult Literature, my professor is just an angel herself, and she gives us such good literature, and academic articles, and essays to read. I love it, and her. She is my new favorite professor. Don’t tell her though, okay? I am reading The House on Mango Street, and next up, The Red Umbrella. I think this teaching thing may just be my niche, that or writing. An essay we just read was on Contemporary Memoirs, it had so many inspirational ideas for teaching this genre of YA literature. I linked, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros.
Lots of love everybody.
Happy Day of Peace

The fact that I have the ease and time to make a post is an indicator of how well my assignment went. I had to write a Research Critique in APA format. My initial response was one of panic and fear. Go figure. However, one thing I have learned this past summer is to stay in gratitude, and to have faith. It was not so easy but I got better at it. I have spent a good deal of time meditating the last few months, additionally I have had some very good communication with the angelic realm. I also believe in fairies, I do, I do! Speaking of fairies, I bought Doreen Virtue’s Fairy Tarot deck, the art is dreamy. Okay back on topic, so about a month ago I was meditating and calling on the archangels to come and heal me, guide me, and inspire me. As I called forth Archangel Gabriel, I saw the brightest of golden light and felt it in my body. I ask him, why he was coming in so strong? He said “To help you succeed.” Yeah! Nice huh?
So as I approached this daunting assignment, I kept myself calm, I read all the directions, and for me that is quite an accomplishment. Oh, and another thing. If you are so, so busy, you absolutely cannot procrastinate. I mean it isn’t possible. lol So I had done all the prep work, and fortunately the instructor had provided every tool for you to succeed. She gave you a template; an example; where to and how to locate the resources, and so on. The article I chose was on a study done on bullying, which I want to understand. Well surprisingly I just rolled threw it. I had to google and YouTube things like how to create a Running Header, take a screen shot and create and insert a table. Strangely you do need that stuff they teach you in College Algebra. Yeah, Right? I am a Secondary Ed. English major, but this is a “Ed. Psych” class. Will that math never go away? I am just sharing because I had no idea that I would have the entire paper completed with three days to spare. Thank you Gabriel. It is good to have friends in high places, and we all have friends in high places. Just saying.
On other fronts, Macbeth is being given to us slowly. The class is “Shakespeare and Performance” which now makes a lot of since to me now. He wrote the plays to be performed, so they are so much easier to understand when watching them performed. I am watching two versions, one a sort of classic take, HD, and Rupert Golds, Macbeth, on PBS. We have only unpacked the first four acts, and I have not watched ahead, primarily because I didn’t have time. I love all of my instructors. Everyone at ASU is awesome. I even bought a tee-shirt.
All my love, and don’t forget to ask for the angels help, talk to them, and listen to them. It has certainly worked for me. I testify.
