Most of my blog buddies are friends on Facebook, so y’all are up to date. Graduation was fun, It felt like an accomplishment although it was just community college. Boy I love, love that school, and had such erudite professors, who are great teachers. As education is my major, I always got a twofer; I was learning say Literature, and watching their teaching style. All of the professors were there to congratulate us, and that was a cherished moment. Oh, and I got to walk to Pomp and Circumstance! (You can see it on my Facebook page.) Today I met with my ASU, Mary Lou Fulton Teaching College adviser, Chris, super nice guy. We took the light rail to the Tempe campus, so it was also an adventure. Parking is super expensive there, and I would get some exercise if I chose that method of transit. I am also considering taking my bike, if my knee is down with that. So more delays, I have to get my finger print card, I had no idea but I start teaching in a classroom my first semester, one day a week. Wow, jumping right on into this. Well that is pretty much it, things are flowing it a it better than that last month, my computer is in the shop yet again.
A special thank you to all my friends, and family for all the beautiful roses, card, parties, best wishes. . . it was really, really cool! I am blessed!
I am inspired by peacocks lately, and I know I have covered its symbolism before, as well, as Julianne, at Through the Peacock’s Eyes, and others, but I will include a bit here anyways.
The Peacock is here to remind that nothing, including beauty, should be taken too seriously. This will help you stay centered on what is and allow you to be grateful for what you have. Having a lighthearted approach to all things that come our way because laughter really is the best medicine to keeps us healthy and happy.
Alternatively this bird could be letting you know that now is the time to acknowledge your dreams and aspirations within yourself. Use this birds gifts to bring you confidence, stature and a sense of accomplishment in all the things around you and all your current projects.

Bird People, and the Hidden Queen
All across our planet in ancient writings, and in ancient art we see Bird People, or Avian “gods,” we could surmise that they were thought of as “gods” because of their great powers, or because they came in flight from the heavens. We have been told that these are myths. Myths as defined; a traditional story, especially one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events. Something that is not true, not a reality. Who says? They say, the scholars, academics, and historians. I believe where there is smoke, there is fire. Something “natural” inspired these myths, who is to say, that these things are not “natural,” but supernatural. They again say this. Yet, some of the BIGGEST myths ever are believed to be real by the masses. I for one believe there is truth to what is seen in the ancient art, and stories.
You may be familiar with the story of the hidden queen, it pops up in movies, Star Wars, MIB 2, Jupiter Rising and others. A queen is hidden on Earth ,”they,” the opposing force knows that she is here, and they wish to find her at all cost. Why?
There is more to that story but I will leave you with that.
Mythology, fact or fiction? I believe the greatest injustice perpetuated on us is that mythology and ancient art is all some stylized version of their supernatural beliefs.
Here are some links for further review, if you are so inclined.
Hey friends. Whoa, so much going on. I have finally a pause before more activity to just chill, watch YouTube videos, make chalk murals on my garden wall, and maybe a nap, or trip out for secondhand treasures. You know the things you usually get to do on Spring Break, that or a Fort Lauderdale beach shindig with Elvis. Who knows, I might do them all. Also it is our lovely weather before the summer sun intensely blesses us with her rays, in other words beautiful Spring weather. I am going to share a great article on chakras for you all to enjoy. Thanks Jeanette Saint Germain for sharing with me.
March 14-20 Rainbow Portal Opens
Rare Opportunity for Transformational Energy Cleanse
On Monday March 14th 2016 a Rainbow portal, also known as the Seven Pillars of Light, is opening. These pillars encompass the seven colors of the rainbow and they can have powerful and transformational effects on our chakras if we choose to access and absorb the incoming energies.
Every day from now until the equinox on March 20th, a different light frequency will be emanating from the universe and on each of these seven days a different color of the rainbow, starting with red and ending with violet, will be vibrating and radiating towards us. This means we are receiving a rare opportunity to harness these energies and carry out essential maintenance and cleansing work on our chakras, as each chakra relates to one of the color in a rainbow.
The reason we are experiencing and associating the incoming energy with a color is because the sine wave predicted recordings for these next seven days to coördinate with colors that vibrate on the same frequency as those predicted wavelengths. Each color relates to one of the colors of the rainbow, in the same sequence as a rainbow, from red through to violet.
As we are embarking on a seven-day rainbow energy influx, we can spend these days focusing on one chakra at a time and paying close attention to the emotional, mental and physical conditions that are associated with each one. The simplest way to do this is to start each day by tuning in to the chakra associated with the incoming color.
The days, chakras and colors interconnect as below:
Monday 14th The Base/Root Chakra—Red
Tuesday 15th The Sacral/Spleen Chakra—Orange
Wednesday 16th The Solar Plexus Chakra—Yellow
Thursday 17th The Heart Chakra—Green
Friday 18th The Throat Chakra—Blue
Saturday 19th The Third Eye Chakra—Indigo
Sunday 20th The Crown Chakra—Violet
Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel. Chakras are spinning wheels of energy and they draw in vital universal life force energy (Prana) that the human body needs to exist.
Chakras are visually represented as a vertical row of circles and each one vibrates on its own unique frequency and is depicted as a color. The seven chakras are associated with a color of the rainbow and they run up the physical body from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. They each serve as pumps or valves and they regulate our energy flow.
When we focus on each chakra we will notice sensations arising; this indicates the health of the chakra and how freely it is spinning. We will then be able to intuit whether the chakra is rotating slowly due to being blocked with dense energy or whether it is clear and light and able to spin on a high frequency. When we visualize the colors associated with each chakra we cultivate and revitalize the energy that is stored there and we will instantly feel emotionally and physically reenergized and replenished.
When our chakras are healthy we maintain a sustainable healthy flow of energy and the left and right side of our bodies, the yin (receiving) and yang (giving) rotate in harmony with one another.
Each chakra is associated with a specific area of the human body and also to our vital organs. They provide the organs with the energy they need to function. It is essential they stay open so that energy can flow through them as blockages cause our energy to slow down, which results in our physical health being adversely affected.
Each chakra has its own set of qualities that are enhanced when aligned and balanced and many of these qualities have yet to be accessed. When Kundalini energy, that lies dormant at the base of our spine, is awakened we can become conscious of what is stored in each chakra so we can gain access to the qualities and begin a process of self-transformation.
Our chakras can become imbalanced or blocked when we experience situations in life that are distressing or that induce negative emotions. If we don’t transmute and clear blocked energy it can manifest as emotional, mental or physical pain or illness.
To become aware that there is an obstruction we simply need to be aware that our mind and body are intrinsically connected and pay attention to how we are processing our emotions.
When we have a sound understanding of how our chakras operate we can connect with them so that we can heal our body as well as our mind. We can rebalance and realign our chakras by understanding each of their functions and then paying attention to the associated sensations related to our physical body.
On each day between March 14th and March 20th, we can focus on each chakra and by drawing in the color of the rainbow that is emanating from the open portal we can carry out essential emotional, mental and physical healing work.

Revisiting and older post. Namaste~ We all know its meaning, just a blessed reminder.
The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. Nama means bow, as means I, and te means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.”
To perform Namaste, we place the hands together at the heart charka, close the eyes, and bow the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especially deep form of respect. Although in the West the word “Namaste” is usually spoken in conjunction with the gesture, in India, it is understood that the gesture itself signifies Namaste, and therefore, it is unnecessary to say the word while bowing.
We bring the hands together at the heart chakra to increase the flow of Divine love. Bowing the head and closing the eyes helps the mind surrender to the Divine in the heart. One can do Namaste to oneself as a meditation technique to go deeper inside the heart chakra; when done with someone else, it is also a beautiful, albeit quick, meditation.
Namaste, to myself, to you, to my world, and universe, to infinity and beyond~
