Tunes for Thought
I love my life~
Belated Gong Hei Phat Choy folks! I am a Fire Rooster, 1957, last rooster year what was it 2006, it wasn’t my favorite year I can tell you. But all signs point for this one to be a whomping good year for me, and my Fire Rooster boyfriend. He is painting a lot, and he has painted a Fire Rooster, but this isn’t it. I am not sure of the above artist, it is signed.
School is keeping me busy, as usual. OMG I have to walk a lot. I would take my bike but that would me putting it on my car, taking it off, taking it onto the lite rail, so forth, and so on….so I walk, and carry a super heavy backpack (I look at carrying the weight as an active karmic burn off lol). I am doing a lot of teaching presentations in all my classes and have done in my internship as well. I like the high school I am at, but it is far…… well 30 minutes, that is far for me. My mentor teacher Mr. Lopez is super fly. Sorry I am listening to “Super Freak” so the word “fly” just came out.
I have been entertaining Study Abroad at Oxford, I submitted the application, applied for one scholarship….but I am reconsidering as 10K is going to happen only if, 1) strike oil, 2) win lottery, or 3) a rich relative I don’t have dies and leaves me all their money. But I DID enjoy the dream and the emails that were headed Oxford. So I have it out in the grey creative matter. It could happen but I really need to focus on this degree which the Oxford credits would not apply to. I did see a whole list of English department scholarships that I am going to get on top of but they are not study abroad scholarships. Grammar is kinda fun. Wish me luck on my first Grammar exam Tuesday, plus two teaching demonstrations next week.
Well that about brings me current. Love yall ❤

Archons, Dominions and Thoughts that Run Wild
By Julian Websdale
Friday, July 11, 2014
There is a simple premise in esoteric literature: thoughts have power. Even modern science accepts that behind the structure we know as the material world is a web of energy, and the interactions between different types of energy create the semblance of solidity we call matter. Thought, then, as a form of energy, has the same power. This is why in so many traditions there are admonitions about controlling the thought process, while thinking and doing are still different things, thinking does have its effects.
Clairvoyants of many persuasions have seen and documented the shapes and forms produced by various types of thought; witness the work of Charles Leadbeater. While many of these forms are fleeting, when empowered by the emotions and by memory they become more than just thoughts, they become thought forms.
These thoughtforms exist beyond simply when they are thought – they take on an independent existence within the mind of the thinker. They then influence memory and condition our perceptions of everyday life. We may want to see these thoughtforms as only existing within the psyche of the neurotic or unstable, and yet all of us have our lives conditioned by the thoughtforms we have created in the past. For most people they never see the present unfiltered, all experience is sieved through thoughtforms created from childhood, and even beyond through past lives.
Meme: (pron. ‘meem’) A contagious idea that replicates like a virus, passed on from mind to mind. Memes function the same way genes and viruses do, propagating through communication networks and face-to-face contact between people.
David S. Bennahum
Thoughts however go much further. As documented in much modern research on Memes, thoughtforms can become like viruses of the mind. They can spread throughout groups, families, nations and indeed the world and are passed through the deeper levels of the unconscious we all experience. Rumors, tales and urban myths are all memes or thoughtforms. While they may be primarily passed by the printed word, internet, media, etc., there is a time when they reach a certain “saturation point” and then become part of the collective unconscious. This is exceptionally dangerous as negative and violent forms can control groups and crowds creating mob violence and aggression. These group-minds are really thoughtforms out of control, and are known in the Gnostic Tradition as Archons. There are multitudes of Archons dwelling both within our minds and within the collective unconscious.
Not only can Archons exist in the unconscious collective mind, they can create a breach into the astral worlds through which fallen spiritual entities can then move into the earthly spheres and control the thoughtforms created. The Archons are the products of mankind enlivened by fallen spirits and fed by our own emotions. They can control and influence individuals, collectives, even nations and governments.
In Gnostic literature these Archons can so increase in power that they become Dominions, forces which control whole groups of people; even races and countries. People of many religions think that they are worshiping the I-AM; however they are actually feeding a false god, an Archon they have created from their own ignorance. This happens all too often and is why the esoteric tradition is imperative.
Without the guidance of esotericism, many will be caught within the web of exoteric (outer) religion. Fundamentalism, cults, literalism, extremism are all products of incorrect readings of the spiritual tradition. When these groups develop, their thoughtforms take on a life of their own and, not being connected to the “real” energies of the Great Chain of Being, they soon sour and become a nexus for the manifestation of fallen entities from the astral worlds.
These fallen spirits work out of step with the universe and invigorate these forms so that they become independent, discrete fields of energy within the astral world (Archons). They grow from Archons to Dominions and rule from their astral kingdoms. Their poor and unfortunate worshipper’s think they are following the “true god” but are actually feeding monsters created from mans suffering and ignorance. Many of these forms feed on suffering, while others feed on pleasure, and they amplify the emotions of their members to gain more and more sustenance. In some sense they are truly “spiritual vampires”, and without esotericism, all religions and traditions succumb.
(They took…) The name of those that are good and gave it to those that are not good, so that through the names they might deceive him (mankind) and bind those to those that are not good.
Nag Hammadi Gospel of Phillip 54:18-25
The imagery of Archons is very strong in Gnostic literature, and because it has become mixed with tales of cosmological dualism, many have come to believe that the Archons are the result of a cosmic error or fall. The reality is that there was no cosmic error, just a misinterpretation caused by ignorance. Yet at the same time this ignorance has created a doorway through which fallen forms can enter and it is these Archons, or whatever we call them, which keep us from appreciating our own misperceptions. Indeed, it is through our own permission that they enter the earth sphere. This is the idea which gave birth to the “fall of man” tradition. Since man in his ignorance created fallen thought forms and allowed fallen entities to enter into the earth stream, then ultimately man is responsible for the present condition of his planet, his culture and his soul.
The issue of Archons is complex for there is an interaction between our own thoughtforms and real fallen astral entities. The thoughtforms allow these entities to interface with our own unconscious. They can change form according to the language of the culture through which they communicate and, being a mixture of our own thoughtforms and “fallen” spirits, can mimic our own hidden desires and needs. While in Medieval periods we may have had demons, incubus and succubus, in the present we have aliens, UFO abductions and medical experiments by creatures we cannot see. In the modern mode, these Archons are sometimes called “ultraterrestrials”. However we must realize that these forms are spiritual in origin. Although there are many other races within our universe, it does seem that a percentage of UFO sightings and experiences reflect our own fears, terrors, needs and desires and hence have an Archontic origin.
The world is the work of lowly powers which, though they may mediately be descended from Him, do not know the true God and obstruct the knowledge of Him in the cosmos over which they rule. The genesis of these lower powers, the Archons, and in general that of all the Orders of being outside God, including the world itself, is the main theme of Gnostic speculation … The universe, the domain of the Archons, is like a vast prison whose innermost dungeon is the earth, the scene of man’s life. Around and above it the cosmic spheres are arranged like concentric enclosing shells. Most frequently there are seven spheres of the planets surrounded by the eighth and of the fixed stars…
The religious significance of this cosmic architecture lies in the idea that everything which intervenes between here and the beyond serves to separate from God, not merely by spatial distance but by active demonic force. Thus the vastness and multiplicity of the cosmic system express the degree to which man is removed from God…
The Archons collectively rule over the world and each individually in his sphere is a warder of the cosmic prison. Their tyrannical world-rule is called Heimarmene, universal Fate … [This universal fate] aims at the enslavement of man. As guardians of his sphere each Archon bars the passage to the souls that seek to ascend after death, in order to prevent their escape from the world and their return to God.
The Gnostic Religion, Hans Jonas
So when we read a description of Gnosticism such as that found in the classic text The Gnostic Religion by Hans Jonas, we must appreciate that the seeming cosmic dualism is actually a dualism between the real and the unreal, between the light of the higher worlds and forces which have been created through ignorance. They are like “monsters from the Id”, they seem real enough and since the physical world is shaped and formed by our perceptions, they are for all intents and purposes real. The only way for us to escape Hiemarmene (universal fate) is to realize that we have created the prison bars ourselves.
What a tragic world this is, he reflected. Those down here are prisoners, and the ultimate tragedy is that they don’t know it; they think they are free because they never have been free, and do not understand what it means. This is a prison, and few men have guessed. But I know, he said to himself. Because that is why I am here. To burn the walls, to tear down the metal gates, to break each chain. Thou shalt not muzzle the Ox as he treadeth out the corn, he thought, remembering the Torah.
The Divine Invasion, Phillip K. Dick. HarperCollins 1981
For we contend not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness.
While the Archons and the Demiurge are creations of man’s ignorance, they are used by the fallen spirits as a source of power. This is one of the major problems with the Archons we create – they attract forms and spirits which are themselves in ignorance and hence follow them.

Notes from the BB (Me)
Having spent ten years in a Gnostic school, I can say that this article sums up a lot of the mystery teachings quite succinctly. But I believe this is of uber importance for people to understand. It isn’t light reading. ❤
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Mercury Retrograde Christmas. My car, my boyfriend’s car….. and it isn’t even retrograde until the 19th, but other than an expected “Griswald Christmas” it is all good. Semester finally done, an A on the Shakespeare paper which felt like a huge accomplishment. All in all I got 3, A’s, a B+, and 2 B’s. I should be happy, and I am, but I could have done a little better. I am working on a visual and audio presentation on the paper, as I have such a vivid image of the play in my head, and I really like the paper. I will post to my academia.edu page when I revise it. It is nice to catch my breath but I am already to get back into school. I guess it is a good thing I picked teaching and English because I love them both. Graduation is May 7, 2018, so for those who plan to attend, Linda, Mary…lol anyone else, that is 18 months notice.
Have you ever had one song stuck in your head for over a week? I have had Barry White singing in my head for over a week. Please help exorcise Barry White’s, Never Never Gonna Give You Up from my mind. Really and life isn’t that sexy. lol
Oh and my sister talked to our dead dad via Jeanette St. Germain, cool huh? lol
If you are so inclined I linked an astrology article on MR below.
Happy Holidays! 😉
I cannot read the artist name but it is lovely.
An interesting specific totem archetype surfaced the other day. As I was leaving Hogwarts, which is what I call the Language Arts building at school, I saw a couple sitting under a tree with a bunny on a harness. I didn’t give it much thought other than, “Oh how cute.” You know a typical response. Once home for my couple hour break before returning across town to campus, I decided to read my Fairy tarot, one of the cards I drew was The Prince of Spring (Wands), “On the card the prince rides a rabbit, moving quickly from one adventure to another!” Immediately I observe the synchronicity, and I thought “How curious?” I though “Where is the third?” Then I realized a novel I had just started reading, The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, by E. Lockhart, has a protagonist who is called “Bunny rabbit” by her family. So, what does this all mean? I mean it is too odd to mean nothing.
I know standard rabbit symbolism; fertility, abundant sexuality, abundance, so forth and so on. In two instances harnessed, and actually as well in the third with the novel’s heroine, Frankie. Since I will not go into the novel suffice to say, she is restrained by society, by her family, her gender, so forth and so on. In brief the narrative is about a girl, a secret fraternity at a top boarding school, a side of society not many are privy to. Therefore I will look at the symbolism.
I ran across an article I had not read before that seemed primarily to speak to me in this regard.
Rabbit Power Animal Symbol of Creativity, Intuition, Paradox, and Fear
By Ina Woolcott
Rabbit is interpreted in different ways in different cultures. In China, it is one of the astrological animals and linked too good fortune and the moon. People born under Rabbits sign are believed to be artistic and sensitive. The Rabbit is also linked with the goddess Hecate. In some Native American traditions Rabbit is known as the Fear Caller, due to it projecting its fear of those wishing to eat it, and thereby attracting the predators it fears. Ever heard the phrase scared as a rabbit? Well, rabbits are well known as timid, shy and afraid creatures. We can learn from the rabbit that if we are always afraid of something then we may draw/create the very experience we are afraid of in to our lives. Fear sends out a certain vibrational energy that may attract the very thing we fear. Fearful thoughts reproduce (like rabbits) and manifest what we fear. Rabbit people may be afraid of tragedy, illness, and disaster, thereby calling those very fears to them to teach them lessons
If a rabbit lives in constant fear of being eaten by an eagle, then this increases the chances of this happening by sending out negative energy. The rabbit should dedicate his time and energy to becoming clever and cautious in order to outwit the eagle. If the rabbit finds you then ask yourself whether you are worried or afraid of something. Ask yourself what the best way to handle the situation is. Are you able to let go of your fears? Is there a friend who is able to help you, someone whom you trust? Whatever, living with fear is no good for you.
Rabbits are guides into the shadow world, where our personal fears lie. When the rabbit shows up it is time to examine those deep reflexive fears that hold you back from growing. Do you keep bounding for the safety of your old patterns every time something new or challenging presents itself? If the answer is yes, the rabbit asks you to face your fears with compassion for yourself. You must accept that it is part of human nature to feel fear at times, but also believe that our fears need not paralyze our growth and movement.
Rabbit medicine is also very positive, showing us how to attract love, abundance, health, and a warm, dry burrow. We are guided to move through fear, living by our own wits, receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages, quick thinking, strengthening intuition, and paradox. Rabbit represents humility, being quiet and soft and not self-asserting. If you see Rabbit or in any way feel attracted to him, this may be a sign for you to wait for the forces of the universe to start moving again, to stop worrying and to get rid of your fears. Rabbit always indicates a need to re-evaluate the process you are undergoing, to rid yourself of any negative feelings or barriers, and to be more humble.
Rabbits are vegetarians. Though they are eating, they are always alert. They eat the inner bark of saplings and shrubs as well as leaves and fruit, giving a perfect illustration of Nature’s balance. Their rapid rate of reproduction is balanced out by the fact that almost every predatory animal eats them. This power animal may be asking you to examine the kinds of foods you eat. Perhaps a vegetarian diet, only for a short time, can help you strengthen and heal. Generally rabbits are most likely to be seen between dawn and dusk. The sun rising and setting from horizon to horizon has an air of mystery surrounding it. This is the time when the invisible becomes visible and nature spirits are more distinct. Due to the rabbit and the fairy realms being active at the same time of day, rabbit has a strong link with the magic and mystery of other worlds. To enter these worlds requires but a leap of faith. Rabbits are highly sensitive with keen observational skills, granting them strong reflexes that help them dash to safety. In the time it takes to bat an eyelid, they can be seen, disappear and reappear. Fast, agile and clever, they teach us spontaneous decisive movement, always knowing which direction to go and when. When rabbit appears, this may help us to grasp an opportunity that may only present itself for brief moments.
Rabbits tend to move suddenly and unpredictably. They leap and bound their way through life. If rabbit has entered your life, you may find tat your endeavors also go in leaps and bounds. Maybe this is an indication for you to plan more or to check any plans already set in motion. Do not corner yourself. Pay attention to your personal movement. Growth is assured if one is moving in balance with what is occurring in their life. If one moves too fast or too slow an imbalance occurs and growth is stifled.
We are able to realize what a good teacher Rabbit is in showing us that we are the creators of our lives with our thoughts and emotions. Rabbit feels fear and projects it, creating in the external world situations reflecting the inner world of fear. For us, this is an important lesson. Affirmations, involve focusing on what you want in life and positive outcomes. Thoughts have a certain energy frequency, creating a vibration aiding them to become reality. Just as true when you think about and focus on what you don’t want to happen, a lot of the time we don’t even do this on purpose we do it automatically and even subconsciously, gathering strength unknowingly. This makes it extremely necessary to bring our fears into consciousness – into the light, treating them with gentleness.
Rabbit ability of being alert and aware of its surroundings ALL the time, can help us be aware that we ALL have the power to create with our thoughts and to be aware of them, to redirect them on a positive path and to be focused on our dreams, not allowing our focus to be distracted from our intentions with negative emotions, especially from actualizing our wishes and dreams.
An appropriate take on my symbolic totem scenario.
Happy Wednesday everybody. On a lovely Tuesday morning, my day off, I sat in my garden with coffee, the birds chirping like Spring, and my kitty, listening to Adele’s “19” which I bought on iTunes once. I really like that album, and so did my kitty Spinxy. I watched her the entire time, just so relaxed and chilling under the tree. Have I ever told you all how beautiful our Fall, and Winter feather is? It’s nice. Butterflies, and Springs blooms with a crispness however.
Unbeknownst to me
I was wandering
There was a lonliness
and a hunger.
I found a land
an enchanting one
There was magic here
The natives were not welcoming
It is warm here
a well of love
