Magical Life

I am in so much gratitude for my life, for my family, and for my friends. That includes many of you, who have become my friends. I am so blessed.

I feel magic. I sense it in the air; I see it in nature, and in manifestation. What I have learned about manifestation this year from Abraham, is that its and alchemical process of transforming impressions moment to moment (actually learned that in Gnosis,) but understood it this year from Abraham. I am looking to manifest the best feeling I can in each moment. I have learned that challenges and contrast have great purpose, to help define what you want by feeling what I don’t want, and quickly transforming that feeling to a better one.

In school and in Biology I learned of the great magic that exist in the physical world, in our bodies, in plants, animals, planets, comets, oceans……….. Creation is just so amazing!

I have seen beauty in art, music and writing. Many of you are such good writers, and I so admire you. I admire your depth, and your intellect, your heart, and your soul, all of which you share with us here at Word Press. I am grateful to Word Press for hosting this magnificent union.

Sorry it has taken all day to get this posted~ Thank you everyone for sharing all your magical post in the 12 Days of Christmas writing prompt. I have to confess that not being Catholic, I had no idea when the 12 Days of Christmas actually is, but it was more a theme and a number for me. Thank you for those that educated me.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Namaste~

We Will Now Resume Our Regularly Schedule Programming

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to – The Outer Limits.

All that could be heard was the high pitch buzz from the insects on this late October afternoon. The sun low on the horizon still scorching the air as it entered the nostrils. Lucille Leroy walked the long dirt road past all the corn fields on her way home from town. Thoughts of the picture show still playing in her head. As Warren wooed Natalie, Bobby Joe had caressed her inner thigh. She was somewhat elated from the sensation and the memory.

The sun was quickly dipping below the corn and the light shot through like arrows. Lucille was not crazy about walking past the corn at night, the thought of that kid on “The Twilight Zone” sending the townspeople to the cornfield suddenly popped into her head.  Some of people in Mayville said they saw glowing green lights out there at night, “Why am I thinking these thoughts?” It…

Butterfly Effect

Birth of Venus by Katherine Ace

This post is inspired by Jove at her blog, Where Spirit Stops. In this short but powerful post, Giving Power and Potential. I love this:

What we see as “evidence” of our power is just from this one universe and it only shows us a tiny bit. We receive just enough energy, feedback, and confirmation to keep us afloat. But really, everything we do is necessarily powerful and successful somehow, somewhere.

A single smile can brighten someone’s day and ripple through the universe. The opposite is also true. Today some chilled cantaloupe made me vibrate radiantly inside as I ate it. My sister had bought us 6 of them as they were a mere 48 cents apiece. So as I finished off the chilled one I cut last night, I selected another melon to peel and chop. This beautiful fruit was soft and fragrant and perfect. I was in such gratitude for this perfect piece of food. I gave thanks for it, to the grower, the picker, to my sister and to the universe.

The other day as I was listening to Abraham through Ester Hicks, as I was searching for a trigger or inspiration to transform my thinking and attitude, the message said, “Change the subject. Switch that disk. Find something that you are in gratitude for.” I in that state had a difficult time finding something, not that I don’t have lots to be grateful for, but I was looking for that feeling of joy. So I just started listing and giving gratitude to all my divine partners, my Inner Divine, Self, Archangel friends, and Light Beings. That night I made fish tacos for dinner. I make a really, really good fish taco, my mouth was so insanely delighted, I had that point of joy that I had been seeking earlier. So much like in this statement on The Butterfly Effect:

Although the butterfly effect may appear to be an esoteric and unlikely behavior, it is exhibited by very simple systems. For example, a ball placed at the crest of a hill may roll into any surrounding valley depending on, among other things, slight differences in initial position.

Those fish tacos reminded me of the feeling of joy and appreciation. This morning when I woke up I gave great gratitude for a good night’s sleep. My mind and body was rested, because I had in fact requested it before falling asleep.

Back to the melon, as I was peeling it and gutting the inner seeds, I went to get a bag to put it in the trash and stopped. I realized that I could share this beautiful fruit with my friends in the backyard, the birds, the butterflies and the insects.

For more of the quantum theory of The Butterfly Effect visit my friend Cynthia Sue Larson’s blog, Reality Shifters. Not that she has a specific blog post by that title but post, articles and books in that vane.

Namaste is so much more than a word. In Los Angeles, I used to get so annoyed at the way neophytes tossed around words like karma and Namaste. Neophyte might be stretching it here. So for the longest time I avoided the word Namaste that is until I really deeply felt it. It reminds me of the scene in “Get me to the Greek,” when Aldous, played by Russell Brand, admonishes his ex-wife. She tells him his son is someone else’s child, among other hurtful things and ends it with “Namaste.” He tells her that isn’t really an appropriate usage of the word. Although comical it typically personifies what I mean.

Now I embrace Namaste and the fullness of its meaning.

The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. Nama means bow, as means I, and te means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.”

To perform Namaste, we place the hands together at the heart charka, close the eyes, and bow the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especially deep form of respect. Although in the West the word “Namaste” is usually spoken in conjunction with the gesture, in India, it is understood that the gesture itself signifies Namaste, and therefore, it is unnecessary to say the word while bowing.

We bring the hands together at the heart chakra to increase the flow of Divine love. Bowing the head and closing the eyes helps the mind surrender to the Divine in the heart. One can do Namaste to oneself as a meditation technique to go deeper inside the heart chakra; when done with someone else, it is also a beautiful, albeit quick, meditation.
