Kung Hei Fat Choi 2020

Happy Year of the Rat, I know a few 1960’s Rats and they are amazing.

The Rat is the first of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. The Rat tricked the Ox into giving him a ride. Then, just as they arrived at the finish line, Rat jumped down and landed ahead of Ox, becoming first.

The Rat is also associated with the Earthly Branch (地支—dì zhī) Zi (子) and the midnight hours. In the terms of yin and yang (阴阳—yīn yáng), the Rat is yang and represents the beginning of a new day.

In Chinese culture, rats were seen as a sign of wealth and surplus. Because of their reproduction rate, married couples also prayed to them for children.

Recent years of the Rat are: 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020.

Quirky me doesn’t like to relinquish Christmas easily, so Saturday I decided to take down my Christmas tree. The outside of the house had been deSantafied, so that the neighbors weren’t aware of my quirkiness. I attacked it and got it done, but being aware of the need to be festive, for me and my sister, I decided to decorate for Valentines and Chinese New Year! I was cleaning, arranging, and redecorating.  I went to a local Asian owned dollar store for more decorations. I bought some Lucky Money bamboo, 2 beta fish, and assorted Valentines paraphernalia, I spent an hour shopping for a Lucky Cat statue with a waving arm. I worked feverishly on getting it just right, and all of this not knowing it was the Chinese New Year. I thought the Chinese New Year was always in February? Well, apparently not.

Blog Birthday Bash

Blue Butterflies & Me is 7 years old today. Being as blogging started as a fluke, it has remained a consistent part of my life. it is also my first blog buddy’s birthday, Ody Mama, sadly she is too busy to blog, but I have her on the phone. Happy Birthday girl!

First year of teaching done, time for some cake.

Love you all! Thank you for being in my life.

Pisces Full Moon

This seems to be a very interesting full moon. I am not an astrologer but all my friends are. The cosmos and timelines seem to be converging. Ancient ancestral connections and karma clearing. Wildest dreams coming true. . . I suppose because I am a water sign, Scorpio, I am always comfortable in watery aspects, diving deep beneath the surface to visit the depths of our emotions. Literally discovering our ancient anti-antediluvian past as humans. Truly remembering who we are and knowing our full potential. Reading this first article from a fellow Word Press blogger, Sheena McGrath, and her blog, We Are Star Stuff, really brought on an inner mind-map of connections between timelines and dimensions. Thank to my friend Queen Suzi for sharing.

My horoscope today is interesting.

There’s no limit to the amount of change that can occur in just one day. We might be lulled into complacency when the Moon enters idyllic Pisces at 1:32 am EDT, but the gentle vibes won’t last. The Pisces Full Moon at 7:56 am marks a dynamic turn of events as our fantasies flow into the real world. A tumultuous Venus-Pluto square pits individual rights against the needs of the community. Solutions are elusive while trickster Mercury is in the mix.

With that, I am going to share some links that have been helpful to me this week, and get back to lesson planning for my classes.

Happy Birthday om!
The birth of my blog has truly birthed happiness and good friends. Thank you all so much for not only supporting my blog, but for supporting me and my life. I recall making the journey alone from Louisiana to Arizona driving a U-Haul truck and pulling a car in high winds, but I knew that my blog friends were with me and keeping me in their thoughts and prayers. This amazing community has helped me grow spiritually, creatively and consciously. I have made some really great friends here, and I love you all.
Thank you all so very much~

Hello Happy Friday. A lovely Spring like day here. A day that was gifted me in my Spring break from school I had committed to work today, but alas it got cancelled so change of plan. Oh and I cannot read the text embedded in the image but bless them for sharing the image. I have been listening to my favorite astrologers this fine morning trying to get an idea of what is up? Sometimes the understanding is beyond me. The image and title allude to the Virgo Full Moon on March 12. I will share a few links below. One is from The Leo King, David Palmer, my son (from another mother) actually we have never met except on FB but I just feel like David is my son. lol He has his new fiancee on the show with him and it made me so happy. lol Crazy huh? I was happy he had chosen well.

Full Moon in Virgo; Time to Enter Warrior Mode

I was enjoying my magical garden patio, which as I have shared is darn near Xanadu to me. I was drawn to water my trees and plants, I just love the connection that you get with nature while doing such a simple task. I had created a puddle of mud at the foot of the patio, and I was compelled to just put my feet in and squish it around. If you haven’t done this in awhile, do it. Afterward I see my foot imprints left behind, sort of cool. It took my thoughts to the footprint of the guru, perhaps as I was listening to Ravi Shankar at the time. Honestly I have been hoping for a butterfly sighting . . . the day is young.

Also I have my outdoor kitty’s baby daddy to contend with, this Tom cat is huge, I mean at night he will scare you with his howl and scary gold eyes, he must be part Siamese or Persian as he has long hair, which is grey and white spots, and a slightly smushed face. Did I mention his howl would wake the dead and he is huge? I have named him Brutus. Both of his male offspring, Prince Fu, who is now named Carl, as I understand, and his brother Frankie, look like him. Brutus needs to be trapped and fixed, Pray for a good outcome for Brutus and all concerned.

Oxford deadline has come and gone but I still haven’t taken the flyer from my wall and it still has some unknown relevance, My tale bone is still sore but much better. Merlin, wizards, fairies and Tors still paint my minds imaginings. I have a unit yet to plan for my Methods of Teaching Language class, I am thinking “Unit of Thrones” one that would include Arthurian Grail Lore, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a book of choice either, The Wicked Day, or any of Mary Stewart’s, Merlin Trilogy, Silver Eve (A YA novel female protagonist) or The Mist of Avalon. I would like to include Shakespeare, but a unit is 3 or 4 weeks, even the above is ambitious.

So I best get to scholarship essay writing. My internship is going real well but I am having a tough go of it in my Modern Grammar class so good vibes in that direction, or aka prayers etc… Much love everyone be well. The John Lennon lyrics, “strange days indeed” just popped in my head this morning, and the song lyric does not really fit the mood of the day which is light but nonetheless I share the song it may have a message (Oh of course there is the Shankar Lennon connection).

In the last week of classes for this semester, and what a whirlwind it has been. So much work, but so much fun. I guess I just love school. I had to say goodbye to the 8th grade Honor’s English class where I interned. You get attached to those humans, my mentor too. My internship was really a great experience and it allowed me to see I enjoy teaching. I have several unfinished Signature Assignments yet to turn in but they all have designated time to complete, so I will be fine.

The fantastic art of Matisse is integral to my third and final paper for Mr. Shakespeare professor. He has been so challenging, but ultimately well worth it. For our third paper he wants a critical analysis of our production choices in directing, and producing one of three plays; IV Henry, Twelfth Night, or Othello. I have chosen to produce (on paper for now) Twelfth Night, well I am actually using a framing device and I am having Gertrude Stein produce Twelfth Night, on January 6, on the Feast of the Epiphany, in the current year of 1916. I will create a prologue where the Fitzgerald’s will inform the audience through their discussion. Gertrude has decided to mount the play on a dare from Matisse. Stein will be playing Maria, who in this production desires her lady, Olivia, and has a punishment Matisse must play Malvolio. Olivia will be played by French actress, Musidora. I am time-traveling baby, yeah! The rest of the play is cast but for the purposes of the paper I am focusing on this sorted love triangle. The characters will be introduced in scene transitions with a tango leitmotif. I don’t want to say more as I could plagiarize myself as the paper is yet to be submitted. I am having a blast writing this paper. So Au Revoir for now. I will be free in a week. Oh and Mr. Shakespeare professor gives a final exam, and not an easy one, part 2 has an on spot viewing an a 5 paragraph spontaneous critical analysis essay. Yeah. Wish me luck. lol

Visitation

jeanne-autopotrait

Hey everyone. I did the ritual I posted on Tuesday, Day of the Dead, it felt good. It certainly wasn’t my first go at that one, which I do at least once a year. Only one month left in this semester, where does the time go? A girl came into my Shakespeare class last week to talk to us about studying abroad in the UK this summer at Oxford. OMG I want to go. All of July and August taking two English courses, one with an ASU professor and one with an Oxford professor, now of course I  do not have the funds in place to go but I can dream. For our final paper we are directing a Shakespeare play on paper only, I am excited, the tango music, and Jeanne Hepbuterne, are a hint at things.

I recently had a visitation, November 2, which happens to be my friends birthday. I met her through my best friend Roger. She is a Brazilian beauty and a great gal. Roger was well acquainted with the practices and Orisha’s in the Yoruba based religion. Both he and my other best friend were independently of one another, which always sort of blew my mind. I used to joke around about it until they came to me in a dream once, waking me freezing on a very hot night. It was very cheerful and positive but it got my attention. So anyway I am acquainted with them as well now. So on Tuesday night I smell cigar smoke in my house, no open windows, it isn’t coming from outside, rather or not I instantly thought Roger is here with Esu, the orisha. It was very comforting, and then I see so many connecting threads, I have acquired a cigar box collection, and have been listening endlessly to tango. Either way it was so nice feeling Roger send me a sign. If not I am pretending he did.

A very Happy Birthday to Linda at litebeing chronicles.

❤ We love you girl ❤

I invite you all to cleanse your ancestral, karmic, and Akashic records on Tuesday, November the first, also Dia de Muertos, and All Saints Day. As it is my birthday, Google tells you Happy Birthday, so I decided to click on “I Feel Lucky” and I got this page. I had some alone time and the answers came to me. What past has had an affect on my current life. So I am going to make an alter for my beloved departed but in addition I am going to cleanse and read aloud the Breaking of Vows and Contracts. Which I will add below. I know my sister Leigh has done a lot of work like this. I feel blessed to have the answer to this current life imbalance and know what to do about it. I will invoke the help of Archangel Raziel, it is his area of specialty, as well as Archangel Michael and well, all of the archangels of love & light.

CLEARING VOWS AND CONTRACTS FROM THE AKASHIC RECORDS

BY ANNE BREWER

All of our soul experiences – from every lifetime and in every dimension – reside in the Akashic records. Akasha is a Sanskrit word that means “essence”, and the Akashic records hold the essence of our souls because the records contain every experience we have ever had. We are the cumulative expression of the contents of these records.

Sometimes, the Akashic records contain information in the form of vows that were initially useful to our soul growth but are no longer pertinent. We have gotten the gist of the lesson, and we do not need to continue to live with the vows in place. I call this a regurgitation of soul experiences because the agreement is more detrimental than helpful, yet we continue to create the same occurrences over and over again as we subconsciously tap the Akashic records for information on our commitments.

For example, we may have led a hedonistic lifestyle in order to experience carefree frivolity in a particular past lifetime. We might choose to enter a subsequent life as a nun in a convent to experience chastity and ensure we pay attention to aspects far removed from hedonism, perhaps demureness and modesty. That vow of chastity was very helpful in our lifetime devoted to being innocent, but it may not be too useful our modern male or female lifestyle in the 21st century.

The Akashic records also contain vows we have made to collectives or cults. We live on a planet of polarity so it is part of our soul growth to experience duality. We may live a life as a perpetrator in one lifetime, perhaps a Ku Klux Klan member, and a life as a victim in another lifetime, perhaps a person of color in the deep south in the 1950’s. The richness of each extreme on the duality spectrum enables us to experience each aspect of light and dark. After living the extremes, we are able to find the middle ground, the place of neutrality where judgment and lack of balance is no longer a factor. We have played both perpetrator and victim. We have experienced both sides of the coin, and we can now identify the mid-point which is our responsible use of power. Yet, during lifetimes of playing a perpetrator, we may have made agreements with dark entities who fuel our negativity. It is best to break those ties if we wish to be free of any potential dark influence. Entities who operate in darkness sometimes call upon us if we hold past unbroken vows in the Akashic records. They cannot do so if the agreements no longer exist.

We may also have made planetary commitments that seemed like a good idea at the time. We might have decided to enslave an emerging race of beings for our benefit. We certainly are capable of this act, as past lifetimes as slave owners in ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, or even America would indicate. However, at this stage of our spiritual development, the enslavement of a planetary population might not be in our highest good. The guilt or shame that accompanies past actions still resides in the soul memory system, accompanied by vows or agreements that still remain in the Akashic records.

Sometimes, we are fearful, and we make vows in order to gain protection. For example, we may fear for our sustenance as a tidal wave or earthquake devastates our village, and we may proclaim with great emotional fervor to be loyal to anyone who will save our family. However, there is a law of attraction under which we operate, and like attracts like. When we make vows based on fear, those vows are sometimes accepted by entities who profess goodness but do not deliver it. We may have unwittingly made a vow with a negative entity that initially pretends to help us, but life becomes harder and harder. These entities may even follow us from incarnation to incarnation, unintentionally hired by us until we “discover” them and break the vows in the Akashic records.

I believe it is a good idea to periodically clear past vows in the Akashic records. You can use the following prayer request to sweep the records clean of any agreements that are no longer in your highest good. Prior to reading the request, you will need to instruct your subconscious to create a “surcharge” of vital force (i.e., mana, prana, chi). Then breathe deeply six times using the following pattern: inhale slowly to the count of four, hold to the count of four, exhale slowly to the count of eight. This is an ancient Polynesian or Kahuna breathing pattern that generates a great deal of vital force. Please note that vital force is not the breath itself. It is the combustion of energy that occurs when oxygen enters the body and interacts with the stored fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in your cells. Command your subconscious to send the vital force to your spiritual committee and High Self to be used to enact the following request in clearing your Akashic records. Then, read the request aloud.

1) Disavow any promises, contracts, vows, oaths, spells, pacts, bindings, or agreements that I have ever made that are conflicting with my highest good, including vows that are adversely affecting me presently or will not serve my highest good in the future and in all concepts of time on all dimensions, in this life or any other life. Please assist me in disavowing these vows and agreements so they are no longer a restricting device on me. I ask that all restrictions be lifted and eliminated so that I can expand and align with my higher path and purpose.

 2) Sever and make null and void at root cause any promises, contracts, vows, oaths, spells, pacts, bindings, or agreements between me and all entities causing interference. These include all that may be secret, hidden, invisible, covert, unseen, unheard, unknown, unacknowledged, and undisclosed. Remove all operating systems and instructions, including backup systems and copies. Retain all learning experiences free of trauma. Conduct a full binding on all negative entities.

3) Sever all vows and contracts that I have made, either knowingly or unknowingly, that have interfered with Universal love, light, and truth for any planetary system. Include contracts that are perceived to be irrevocable. Release me from all judgments, pain, and guilt associated with creating or participating in these agreements, transmuting the discord to love before releasing it.

Over the ensuing months, pay attention to times when you feel freedom from any limitations or restrictions. Focus on the freedom because it is communicating the dissolution of the restricting elements of past vows. Encourage the freedom as a precursor to new ways of being rather than resorting to past habits based on limitations imposed by vows. Enjoy your new way of being!

Magic Is

Magic is. . .

For one…. This amazing painting that graces the back side of my Fairy Tarot deck. She just looks like I want a fairy to look. It has sure been a long haul with school. I have forever homework with umpteen essays, books to read, articles to read, projects and presentations to do. A normal free day for me is 12 or more hours of work. Wow, I had no idea. The good news is that I am doing it.

I have a rather scholarly Shakespeare professor who I really enjoy listening to and learning from. However I took my rough draft for my first paper, that I had worked on for eighteen hours, and he hated it. I was gobsmacked and not in a good way. lol Thankfully I also have great non-corporeal professors who advise me and keep me straight. The scene in his office would be great in a film, at least from my perspective. So I shift gears, rearrange my schedule so I can get caught up yesterday. Reading The Age of Opportunity, by Dr. Steinberg, on the adolescent brain and development is just mind blowing. I am reading a chapter on “The Importance of Self Regulation,” and determination. He says “Tenacity wins over talent.” He goes on to say that in his profession at least 80% of his essays, or grant proposals are refused. Hmm. . . “I See” I say to myself, as I read further “You have to . . . review, revise, review, and revise again.” A different class than Shakespeare but what a timely bit of reading for me. My angel guide says, “You skip steps” I do. I try to write a perfect paper, all correct in formatting and structure the first time. I just learned that having your work critiqued and edited is part of the process. I have also learned there is something to be said to writing with pen and paper old school first. So much to learn.

Now on the lighter side, I LOVE Young Adult Literature, my professor is just an angel herself, and she gives us such good literature, and academic articles, and essays to read. I love it, and her. She is my new favorite professor. Don’t tell her though, okay? I am reading The House on Mango Street, and next up, The Red Umbrella. I think this teaching thing may just be my niche, that or writing. An essay we just read was on Contemporary Memoirs, it had so many inspirational ideas for teaching this genre of YA literature. I linked, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros.

Lots of love everybody.

_Namaste~
