“I” is only a convenient term for somebody who has no real being.

Virginia Woolf

That will give one cause to pause, and ponder its truth. In dialogue with Ms. Mary, from Walking My Path, we discovered we were both planning post on “wind” which is very present here in Arizona, and New Mexico, where Ms. Mary resides. I like to call her Ms. Mary, as it makes me think of The Secret Garden. So for me, “March Wind” went to the bin. That wind reminded me of the wind as spoke of by Don Juan, as menacing, but that is a matter of perception. However is roared, and blustered about, and felt . . . impending? It was this same time of year, well in February that I moved here to Arizona, and crossed New Mexico with the 50 mph winds, and now three years later both my soul sister, and myself discuss the wind. Just reading Ms. Mary had a much happier perspective on the wind, she was dancing with the wind.

So I set outside on a truly lovely Spring day reading Virginia Woolf,s essay, “A Room Of One’s Own” and what a treat it is. This class has been challenging with the double work load, as it is being done in 8 weeks, but some great literature. You know how when you see a powerful film it affects you for days afterwards? On Monday I read T. S. Elliot’s, “The Hollow Men,” it is so powerful. For me the poem was enhanced by a video made by a grad student. If you have a moment, watch it. When she actually reads the poem . . . omg, she reads the poem well, it makes me cry, or is it that darn wind.

Post Script: I had to add that when I sat to write this the time, as I glanced at my phone, was 1:11. Just now when I turn on my laptop to add this, 3:33.

Ascension Guidance: New Moon in Leo – 14 August 2015

By Eddie Seanan

I just wanted to say from the beginning that I am very average in terms of astrology knowledge, so this is not an astrological article. This is more of a “sourcing,” it is simply source/light information that’s being transmitted, as well as a collective energy translation into words. With all that being said, we have a new moon in Leo coming up on the 14th of August.

The energy of this new moon is very potent in terms of getting some clarity on what we really want and what’s best for us, which we will eventually discover it’s the same, as well as always aligned with the Soul Source and its purpose. It’s all beautifully and divinely orchestrated by you and All you are, which is far beyond what we can even imagine at this point. As always, during new moons, it is always recommended to set clear intentions for the next phase that will facilitate the creation of what you want in a conscious manner.

It is time to look deeper into your passions and discover what truly drives you, what really makes you happy. As crazy as it is and as impossible as it might look to our limited mind at times, dare to dream it. See it. What is it? What is it you really want to do, to live, to experience? Ponder about that in your meditations, in your present moments under the light of this new moon. Look deep. Now read this: You truly are a universal being. You come from the stars and the earth and Source. You, the Soul, are as ancient as times and beyond. Your potential is boundless. You are boundless by nature. You’ve heard this before, but have you really felt this with each and every atom of your being? If so, how can anything be impossible?

That is what the Leo energy is facilitating – having the courage to follow your deepest Soul passions and desires. Other planets (Venus, Mars) are currently in Leo as well and are amplifying its energy, while adding some extra empowerment, making it more and more difficult to ignore and not follow our deepest passions, so why even try to do that? The message is: Surrender to the flow, while creating and navigating it. This New Moon aligns with Venus retrograde and it is forming a trine with Uranus, which can help us reflect on the lessons we’ve learned from denying those passions and (hopefully) choosing otherwise this time.

When you truly love yourself, you can only do that – choose that which benefits your highest good. Venus in retrograde is here to show us the aspects of ourselves that are not being loved (if there still are) acknowledge, embrace and love. So, you see, it’s all a beautiful celestial dance and it all benefits the All greatly. It’s a dance of bliss and harmony.

At the same time, there is some inner child healing as the Leo is the “child” of the zodiac, so for some this might come up as well. Awareness and presence in the now moment is really the biggest step towards healing and transmuting self. Besides that, each and every one of you have the skills and abilities to grow, expand and unify in physicality with the Soul Source and the inner child is an important part of it as it is the pure innocence facet of the Soul.

Simply connecting and embodying more of the inner child archetype characteristics will definitely assist with maintaining a higher vibrational state – a cheerful, playful approach towards the challenges we might experience during these times of great intensity, which can sometimes feel quite uncomfortable. But, we have all the tools to ease the uncomfortable part, one of it being approaching a childlike attitude. Physical symptoms can be eased by simply making sure you’re staying hydrated and listening to the body, that is nurturing it with whatever it needs to integrate smoothly these waves of light coming in and to just function properly.

There is also some purging/purification going on. If feeling unusually emotional, know that it’s normal. Simply observe the emotions and allow yourself to feel and learn what needs to be learned from them. Grow through those emotions, as you release them from your field and transform them. The same process goes for thoughts. Declutter. Detox. Let go of what no longer serves you anymore.

During the next few moments, many of our habits will change, as we deepen into the Soul Source unification process, we might lose interest in doing things we used to do and embrace new habits that are more aligned with the Soul (e.g: eating more organic) This is a natural process, so just allow it to unfold and flow with the changes. Embrace the changes as they are all aligned with your highest good – if you so intend it. When you intend it, you create it. Happy New Moon!

Thank you for reading,

Love and Light,

Eddie

 Scary Monsters

There is a continuance on the Inner Child Challenge it just doesn’t seem to be over. The signs, synchronous occurrences and emotions that have arisen, are a clear indication that the process is still unfolding. The great thing is that I have the maturity and spiritual tools, and knowledge to recognize them and their origins as they arise. I really sort of avoided it in the last post but, our Inner Children have monsters in their closet.  I Love Monsters Inc. which is very appropriate for the discussion. So of mine have come out and I am really not that scared of them, but, I did not realize so much of them remained deep in the psyche of my Inner Child.

On Sunday I attended a grand party of friends and musicians playing and we had a fantastic time. Me a little too fantastic. I had been wanting to have a few drinks and I just never do. So this day I did, oh brother did I pay. I was purging heavily for a spell about 2 AM, my head pounding, by 8 AM i was fine. I was sharing this with my good friend and she says “oh well that makes sense that there was a Neptune aspect that would imply overindulgence, and purging without Ayahuasca with Jupiter going into Virgo, could be the release of Mars male ego energy residuals,” she also told me to nurture my feminine side. This all made sense to me and then today I see a curious article Lindsay Lohan says “Ayahuasca Changed My Life.” It was interesting, so I followed up with Sting talking of his experience. Down the Rabbit Hole I go. Which led me to a documentary you may have seen, Metamorphosis- Ayahuasca Documentary. I have friends that have ventured to the Amazon for this sacred ceremonial medicine so I had some understanding. What really strikes me here is the stuff that is hidden in the psyche that comes forth. I had tears all throughout the film. It shows some deep healing work with the Inner Child. It is a powerful documentary. It is my belief that this kind of work that is done without Ayahuasca is easy to back away from and not continue. If one makes the kind of commitment made to go to the Amazon, no matter how terrifying the work, you will persevere. I am not saying that I am making that commitment but I can certainly see the spiritual benefit of that journey of healing. This is really a full circle moment, the Ayahuasca Ceremony center is called The Blue Morpho, Shamanic Ayahuasca & Sacred Plant Retreat, prior to beginning this blog I had many visions of the Blue Morpho butterfly, which is how I came to this name. I am not sure what this all means, I know that fellow blogger Trina, at Akosmopolite shared her experience and found it transcendent. I also saw the film, The Blue Butterfly, years ago, that was a kids healing journey, it is a great film.

All this and the 888 Lions Gate Portal….whoa….its been very interesting stuff, but I got this. The journey continues.

Spinning Wheel

We are all children at heart. In our core there lives a pure divine spark of source. This core spark, energy crystal of light is very near the Inner Child. This world of physical vehicles that host these divine sparks are born into polarity, therefore darkness can affect these spark. Neale Donald Walsch, calls it Little Soul, as the story you may know, “Little Soul and the Sun” I blogged it here. So our life plans are laid out much as one would schedule our college courses, all kinds of things that affect the innocent sparks, sometimes called ego. I came in blazing, and a lot of my heavier karmic lessons in this life occurred early. So my Inner Child took some hard blows. However I recall a rather happy childhood anyway. Doing the meditations I linked on my initial post here, has opened up further emotional clearing, or more self love for my Inner Child. The week had many challenges and some releases, which I feel is good. So when I followed my intuition on bringing up this Inner Child work in this challenge, I did not realize I was opening up Pandora’s box.

So fair warning to any who endeavor this, however our Inner Child deserves our love and attention. With this effort our Inner Child will come in and give us great help say’s Ho’oponopono’s, Dr. Len.

Some of Little Sindy’s favorite things:

Paper Dolls, I loved them. I still like using scissors, and cutting paper.

Adventures, Recently my sister said she recalled an adventure when I was 6, and she 3. She even remembered the name, the neighbor kids called it Devil’s Ditch, it was just a drainage ditch in the middle of a field, in the middle of a new subdivision. All the kids in the neighborhood rode their bikes the couple blocks to the field. I don’t recall what we did that day but we played until sunset, all riding our bikes home for dinner.

Visiting my grandmother in the summer, and getting spoiled rotten in her country store, eating all the candy, cookies, ice cream and drinking ice cold sodas from bottles in the old fashioned Coke box.

Christmas, we didn’t have a lot growing up but my mother created magic at Christmas.

There are so many ways to bring this same joy into our adult lives and listen to and conscript the help of our Inner Child to help us clear all dis-harmonies in our lives.

I may well add a couple more post on this topic before moving on. Big Sindy will be back to big school soon, so you all know that means blogging suffers.

This has been a good challenge, I am so grateful for all of your contributions, and for everyone reading.

The Zen of Crayons

Chris14

Melanie Safka

This is a wonderful post written by a friend in real life, she doesn’t blog here at Word Press, but perhaps we can woo her here. Tomorrow wraps up the challenge, but if anyone gets inspired, send it on, and we will add it. ❤ I have to continue the work I revisited here with my Inner Child, and we may be blogging about it more.

With no further adieu~

The Zen of Crayons

By Lori Elward

Generally, when we are trying to be mindful and centered, we are told to seek quiet and stillness. We get settled somewhere and breathe – and try to clear our minds of all the “yada yada” of daily life. One exception to this is the act of coloring with crayons. It is an activity that evokes mindfulness in its very DOING. Pressing that little stick of color against paper and seeing the result brings us into the moment unlike few other things.

Life is like a box of crayons. I’m not the first person to say that, but it’s true. Some people never let themselves be more than an 8 crayon box. Nothing wrong with that. I’ve done some amazing coloring with blue, red, purple, yellow, brown, black, green, and orange. Having only 8 crayons can limit you – or it can make you try creative things – like mixing them together to make other colors. Problem is, crayons don’t blend very well. Not like tempera paint. If you give a toddler a paint brush and 8 little puddles of color on a paper plate, 9 times out of 10, the paint will end up blended together perfectly to make a unique and wondrous color I refer to as baby poop brown.

Paint likes to blend. Crayons do not – a lot like people, I guess. Some of us like to blend in – and some of us like to stand out. The stand out people are more like the boxes of 24 crayons. I remember when I graduated to that. Now I had things like red-violet, scarlet, and indigo. There was also yellow green…… and green yellow (which were always kind of a puzzlement to me – but some things you just have to accept as a kid.) And what about orange, yellow orange, and red orange? If you ask my 3 year old grandson Sebastian what color it is, he says orange. They’re all orange. The subtleties may be wasted on a lot of kids… but not on me.

The leap to a 64 count box was like the earth had split open and incredible rainbows had come pouring out. My first experience of the “Magnificent 64” was when it came out in 1958. I was 5, and it was kind of like Christmas, Birthday, and 4th of July all rolled into one, rectangular, gold and green magical cardboard box. You opened it – and the smell hit you. Probably one of the most well known smells on the planet. Ode de Crayon.

The assortment was mind-boggling – aquamarine, chestnut, plum, raw sienna and raw umber (as opposed to cooked sienna and cooked umber – I used to wonder about that). It was incredible… and you would color and color with midnight blue and mulberry and cornflower… just so you could get those little pointy ends off and have a reason to use that special secret crayon-only sharpener on the back. Wow. It was like having a secret decoder ring or a magic wand. You wore those points off your favorite crayons, and then you enthusiastically shoved lemon yellow in that little hole in the back and turned it hard to the right – and the crayon broke in half in your hand.

Disaster strikes in the crayon world.

So, being the resourceful 6 year old that you were, you took the bigger of the two pieces and, a little more gently this time – tried to stick it in the sharpener and turn. The lovely colored wrapper, which had been torn in the earlier disaster, spun around in your hand – but the crayon didn’t move.

“Okay,” you thought. “I can do this. I do not need to call Mommy.” You removed what was left of the wrapper, and stuck the now naked partial crayon in the hole, twisting it as you went. It spun around, but nothing happened. You pushed harder. Nothing happened. You pushed harder… and the box went crashing to the floor.

20 minutes later, when you had tried unsuccessfully to put all 64 of the scattered crayons back in the box so that the colors are lined up like they were before, you realized there was one gaping crayon sized space. You spotted a nugget of lemon yellow on the other side of the table, but where was the… Oh no… there – under your PF Flyer – waxy bits of bright yellow ground into the carpet. So now – you were not only in deep doo doo with Mom, but there was a hole in your box – like a missing front tooth. You dropped in the small rescued yellow piece – but the space above it just mocked you and served as a reminder of your shame…

Eventually we all learned how to peel back the wrapper and sharpen our crayons. We learned to deal with the slowly deteriorating collection as one crayon after another broke, or disappeared under the back steps, or melted in your pocket in the dryer. It didn’t take that long for the shine to wear off – but we still loved them. It made a new box that much more exciting.

I still think a new box of crayons is a miraculous thing. A million mindful masterpieces have come from those gold and green boxes since they first came on the market in 1903. Sadly, lemon yellow, mulberry, and raw umber no longer show up – they, along with 10 other magical colors, have been “retired.” You will no longer find a peachy looking crayon called “flesh” because of course, flesh is not all peach colored. Colors have been added, like Electric Lime, Fuzzy Wuzzy and Mango Tango. There are actually 133 colors of crayons, not including specialty crayons such as Silver Swirl, Gem Tone, and Metallic FX. There are also some crayons called Magic Scent which smell like Baby Powder, Daffodils and Pine trees. I am categorically against them. It would ruin the whole effect. I will stick with Ode de Crayon, thank you very much. It’s part of the mindfulness of the whole crayon experience. The smell, the choice of color, the feel of the crayon in your hand – the creation that starts the moment the crayons come out of the cabinet.

The minute you are old enough to scribble with one of those big crayons in your chubby little baby hand, you can begin the art of crayon mindfulness. And until you are too old to hold a big fat crayon in your withered old hand, you can continue the art of crayon mindfulness. Buy a box today. Buy one for a friend. You can now buy 120 lovely crayons in one gold and green cardboard container – can you imagine the creative works and opportunities for mindfulness that could come from that?

As a way of inspiring a moment of profound healing by receiving the transmission of energy encoded in these words, please read the following post, either silently or out loud. I also invite you to pass it along to inspire greater healing in every heart. Many blessings to all. ~Matt=-)Dearest inner child,I’m sorry if you ever felt hurt, abandoned, rejected or doubted by anyone in the past, or if you’ve ever felt that I have lived in a way that has excluded you from my experience. I’m sorry if I made you feel less then, humiliated, or judged by calling you an ego. I apologize for imaging you as a barrier to God, or something to get away from; as if you were not a pivotal part of my journey and the guardian to my highest Self.I’m so sorry if my interest in spirituality made you feel like the invisible sibling that’s never enough for my attention.

I’m sorry if lovers seemed more important than honoring you. And when you felt unsafe around the people I surrounded myself with, I’m sorry I did not hear your requests. Instead, I tried to desperately earn the validation from those who made you feel unsafe. I now see how caring for you, my beloved innocence of heart, offers me the validation, confidence and emotional support that no one else may be destined to provide.

May this moment of forgiveness be a re-start between us, where we make peace and allow the mind and heart to reunite by coming together in the oneness of love., May we engage in the beauty and harmony of consciousness, so each battle or wound within me can be healed for the wellbeing of all. May I finally feel the joy of being myself, as a conscious parent to you, my own innocent nature. May you no longer have to act so desperately to earn my loving approval. May you no longer have to create existential crisis as a way of calling out for my loving attention.

I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I did not know how deeply you hurt. From this moment forward, I intend to be the one that keeps you safe, honors your curiosities and concerns by allowing you to share whatever you need to say. I am ready to turn towards the light of my divinity by listening to anything you wish to share with engaged heart-centered attention. I am ready to love you as never before, knowing it’s not about being perfect, but doing my best to allow love to be my response to the emotions you use to communicate with me.

Whether its fear, sadness, anger, jealousy, guilt, shame, insecurity, loneliness, frustration, confusion, or even gratitude, openness, peace, and joy, each feeling is an opportunity to love you throughout each passing experience – no matter how preferable, freeing, frustrating, or inconvenient any of it seems to be.

Thank you for being a part of my life. I love you – now and forever. And so I am healed.

Lions Gate 888-Butterfly Theme

Anna Merkaba

Sacred Ascension~Key of Life~Secrets of the Universe

……………. Now in regard to the upcoming portal. What I am being told is that this particular Lion’s Gate portal carries the energies and the theme of a butterfly. And just like a butterfly emerges out of her cocoon, so is our inner child emerging to remind us to tune into the energies of creation abundantly flowing to GAIA for us to play with.

The energies of the 8/8/8 portal allow us to playfully get things done. To soak up all the energies flowing our way in preparation for the final merger with the creative aspect of ourselves. To finally carve a new divine path for our lives, co creating a new world.

We are asked to acknowledge the goddess within, and embrace her fully and completely. Allowing her to unite within our heart space with the masculine energies. Swirling within a vortex of our own creation, formulating a new direct line to the source from which we can draw the energy, love and knowledge of truth of that which we are.

Now is the time of infinite potential and possibility. Now is the time to create and materialize what we want, into our environment. We are reminded to utilize all 4 elements at our disposal, doing simple things like sprucing up our living quarters to get our creative juices flowing. To more intricate things, such as rearranging our thoughts, doing something we’ve always wanted to do but were stopping ourselves due to various programming ingrained in our psyche.

We are asked to finally come to the understanding that we are co creating our realities, we are asked acknowledge, that we are surrounded by energy of abundance. That there is no lack in the universe and all lack, boundaries or obstacles are perceived by the outdated programming that continues to operate on this plane of existence. We are asked to shed all of these beliefs, and to use the energy of the NOW moment of time to our full potential, to go forth and co-create!

Once again creativity is what we are asked to allow to blossom into our lives. So please let your creative juices flow and take you to new heights. Utilize this energy to materialize that which you’ve wanted to, for so long, and remember to play with your newfound connectedness to the divine, allowing yourself to BE in this moment all the way knowing that this time whatever you truly want will come to pass!

I would also like to draw your attention to the symbolism of a butterfly to help you grasp the idea that we’re being presented here. In the words of Avia from whttp://www.whats-your-sign.com “Overwhelmingly, cultural myth and lore honor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation because of its impressive process of metamorphosis.

From egg, to larvae (caterpillar), to pupa (the chrysalis or cocoon) and from the cocoon the butterfly emerges in her unfurling glory.

What a massive amount of transition this tiny creature undergoes. Consider for a moment the kind of energy this expends. Imagine the whole of your life changing to such an extreme you are unrecognizable at the end of the transformation.

This unwavering acceptance of her metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith. Here the butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives. She understands that our toiling, fretting and anger are useless against the turning tides of nature – she asks us to recognize the same. “Herein lies the deepest symbolic lesson of the butterfly. She asks us to accept the changes in our lives as casually as she does. The butterfly unquestioningly embraces the chances of her environment and her body.”

This unwavering acceptance of her metamorphosis is also symbolic of faith. Here the butterfly beckons us to keep our faith as we undergo transitions in our lives. She understands that our toiling, fretting and anger are useless against the turning tides of nature – she asks us to recognize the same.
